You will be responsible for design and creation of automated test solutions to provide functional, non functional, system, UAT and OAT testing services using testing tools and techniques. Produce reports on progress, evaluation and defects for test manager and project manager.
Job function
• Create and maintain project test plans
• Raise testing issues and risks with test manager / senior test manager / project manager
• Attend project meetings and testing review boards
• Review and analysis of test basis documentation including business requirements and technical specifications to create effective test conditions and test scripts
• Design and create automated test scripts using automation tools
• Carries out detailed testing preparation through the creation of test scenarios and cases utilising test specification techniques (black box and white box)
• Stakeholder management, liaise directly with integration services project and business teams
Candidates should
• Demonstrable experience of test automation techniques
• Understand test estimation processes
• Understand and applies structured test methodologies (e.g. V-Model, TDD, Agile/SCRUM)
• Understand and applies formal test techniques to test analysis and design
• Understand and apply Risk Based Testing
• Experience within a Service-oriented architecture environment
