The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate full training cycle experience working at a managerial level. You will be an individual who will be able to hit the ground running in the fast paced environment and be able to develop relationships from the shop floor to management level.
You will;
• Be responsible for the L&D function at site level and its productivity towards meeting the business’ needs
• Participate in and conducting training needs analysis, skills development classes, cross-training across the business.
• In conjunction with the HR Business Partners create and implement training plans for managers, Learning & Development Associates and others Foster and develop the growth of employees
• In conjunction with HR, facilitate the induction and staff orientation of permanent and temporary employees to communicate policies
• Manage learning resources including budget, headcount, equipment and materials
• Ensure that the learning department designs, creates and updates accurate and useful information on job tasks, Standard Operating Procedures and training aids/visuals
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training activities in relation to business goals
• Support the Operational Excellence Team in the implementation of change based on Kaizen activities (process improvement)
This is a crucial appointment within the organisation to help drive the business forward through its people and strengthen the HR team. You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of HR, succession planning, and will have solid full training cycle experience whilst working within an FMCG or a similar fast paced environment.
The main stay of this role will be managing the induction of all new staff however ad hoc training plans and projects will be given to the successful candidate.
