Evaluation and Impact Specialist

Islamic Relief Worldwide is currently recruiting for the position of Evaluation and Impact Specialist to maximise the impact of our work and to manage the monitoring and evaluation of our programmes working closely with the international programme staff and the Performance and Accountability Coordinator and
Humanitarian Funding Coordinator to ensure the evaluations are linked to the IRW’s corporate strategy. The job holder will ensure that the programmes of evaluations are well managed through a bank of well qualified external evaluators so that compliance and sharing of good practice in monitoring and evaluation is applied.
The successful candidate should have a higher degree in natural resource management, sociology, social anthropology, development studies or equivalent with proven impact based evaluation experience in two or more of the following areas: emergency, DRR, climate change adaptation, water and sanitation , livelihoods, microfinance, education, conflict transformation or health. S(H)e should also have proven experience in analysing data to enable to reach a sound conclusion through experience in research and assessment techniques.
