Period allowed for filling accounts on the companies act

The directors of a company are required by the Act
(s 441) to file the accounts with the Registrar of companies in accordance with
a timescale as:

·        
Private
companies: within nine months after the end of the accounting reference period.
·        
Public
companies: within six months after the end of the accounting reference period.
