An expanding Tours and Travel company based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit Tour-Driver guides to execute its safari and tour programs; conduct organized tours, offer specialist knowledge on East African Tour product among other tasks.
The Person
• Proactive
• Thorough knowledge of Kenya Tourist Product
• Be able to work with minimal supervision
• Articulate in written & spoken English
• Knowledge of a foreign language will be an added advantage
• Thorough Knowledge of the tourism industry in East Africa a must
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must be Honest, Polite, Obedient and Down to earth personality
• Strictly a Teetotaler on the job
Qualifications
• Minimum Diploma in Tour Guiding from a Utalii College (or equivalent)
• Be a member of KPSGA and be at least at bronze guide level
• Basic Training in business management or sales &marketing will be an added advantage
• Minimum 10 years experience in handling both all cadres of clients: budget, mid-scale and high-end clients
• Valid & Clean Driving License plus PSV License
• Tourism License & valid Certificate of Good conduct
Terms
One year renewable contract on successful completion of a six months probation for both Fulltime applicants as well as Freelance guides
An attractive remuneration package commensurate to qualification and experience
