Task Description
-Manages end-to-end relationship with Top-Field Managed Partners.
-Builds Strategy & Business Plan.
-Leads Partner Development: proactively identifies and drives development
levers with Partner and internal SAP stakeholders.
-For VARs: Validate, & ensure alignment around key reseller processes e.g.
MDF´s, support harmonization, pricing changes.
-Creates high-level enablement plan with support from PSA, for sales, presales
and consulting resources.
-Collaborates with territory owners i.e., IE, AE
-Drives/coordinates marketing campaign planning/demand generation.
-Monitors Partner Pipeline: Provide corrective actions for VARs; Provide
directive advice for increasing pipeline.
-Drives key stakeholder alignment between SAP and Partner engages partner with
relevant SAP field resources.
-Engages with Partner at key SAP events – e.g.,Sapphire.
-Creates Customer references.
-Conducts Regular Business Reviews.
-Develops partnership through 360 engagement with Top Partners RTM expansion,
new business models, co-innovation, specialized solution practices, portfolio
mgmt.
-Supports game-changing partnerships.
-Focus on mid-term partner development, – may facilitate select/complex
transactional engagements upon request as necessary.
Work Experience
Min 10 years of IT experience including alliances, channel sales management,
marketing, business development, and/or management consulting.
Requirements
Strong acumen in managing strategic alliances and developing channel marketing
campaigns.
Knowledge and understanding of channel dynamics.
Experience working with Application Vendors (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, SFDC,
etc.) or Tier I System Integrators (i.e. Accenture, IBM, HP, etc.)
Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills. Must possess
executive presence and be comfortable interacting with C-level executives.
Strong knowledge of contract negotiations related to complex partner agreements
Strong academic background. Post-graduate education preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate in both English and local language
