NTU – Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine Senior Curriculum Manager Job Vacancy in Singapore

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of all operational aspects of the Undergraduate Course and line management of Senior Curriculum Administrators and Curriculum Assistants working across the whole spectrum of curriculum delivery.

In addition, you will provide administrative support for the development and delivery of all aspects of the 5-year course, delegated as appropriate to the Senior Curriculum Administrators, and this includes responsibility for lecture based programmes, small group working, practical sessions, team based learning, and clinical placements whether in hospitals, polyclinics or in the community.

• Manage all activities concerned with Course Administration and ensure they run smoothly and efficiently, which includes the day-to-day operations of the Curriculum Administration team, delegation of tasks and trouble-shooting of problems
• Manage all day-to-day operational aspects of the components of the MBBS programme
• Develop and deliver clear data management and reporting mechanisms on student placements, evaluations and assessments to inform planning and development
• Provide accurate and timely information about clinical placements to the Clinical Education Finance Team and other stakeholders
• Service internal committees, produce and present and provide statistical data and analysis
• Administer all aspects of clinical placement and laboratory-based placements
• Manage student issues and information and liaise with the Student Services Manager and the Staff Student Liaison Group
• Draft / collate course and student information, such as year and course guides, prospectus and other promotional material

Requirements:
• An university degree with substantial years of relevant work experience
• Prior experience in the higher education sector and/or health sector
• Proven management / supervisory skills in coaching, motivation, management performance
• Proven experience in a similar role with experience in dealing with training placement policies and procedures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Tactful and ability to work with staff of all levels of seniority
• Meticulous and attention to details
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Initially, you will be based at Nanyang Technological University in the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine offices. You may be relocated with the office to a new medical school facility on the Novena Campus adjacent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital in early 2013. A willingness to work on either site and to work flexibly between sites including at polyclinics is an essential pre-requisite for this appointment.
