Commercial Analyst
Kuala Lumpur
Responsibilities:
• To provide analytical and commercial management support across a wide range of functional areas to assist in decision making, as well as to ensure the Company’s decision makers have cogent financial and strategic information to facilitate business planning.
• Provide key financial information to Finance and relevant business departments to facilitate development of accurate and timely reports.
• Assist with the development of business plans.
• Gather new data and assist with commercial evaluation and economic modeling of ROC’s oil and gas exploration, development and production projects.
• Involvement in ROC’s capital planning and hedging strategy analysis.
• Perform a key role in the commercial and economic assessment of new venture opportunities.
• Identify new approaches to evaluate opportunities.
• Assist with the development of business cases for presentation to management .
• Provide economic models to support relevant commercial information using Excel.
• Provide input and parameters to scenario planning exercises.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Master’s Degree, Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas), Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): advanced financial modeling capabilities, Strong analytical and interpretation skills.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
