Leoch Accupower (M) Sdn Bhd is a
new factory located in Jenjarom, Selangor. It is a joint venture between
Malaysian company and a foreign partner. We are manufacturer and exporter of a
full range of commercial and industrial Sealed Lead Acid batteries cater for
Asian, and Middle East markets.

Production
Manager

Job Responsibilities:-

• Responsible to manage and lead a group of production
  team to achieve monthly/yearly Company set production targets and the
  overall of the Company objectives.
• Work together with warehouse, logistic and QC/QA
  Department to ensure smooth materials for production minimize rework,
  reject, material loss, packing materials and use of materials.

• Lead and direct the production teams by ensuring that
  the teams work closely to meet delivery schedule and to plan output daily
  including effective use of manpower.

• Responsible in managing operations with set objectives
  to meet production demand within cost, quality control and delivery as
  well as ensure operations cost budget.

• Ensure continue improvement in productivity, efficiency,
  effectiveness, cost saving, minimize the wastage by estimates the quantity
  of materials needed in all production.

• Toubleshoot process related problems and formulate
  corrective action plan to avoid recurrence of shortcomings in processing
  line.

• Oversee the productive planning to achieve smooth
  production process and to ensure maintains good housekeeping and
  discipline in the production operation.

• Manage the maintenance function to repair machine
  problems and keep the downtime to a minimum. The repair and maintenance
  cost must also be managed carefully and to budget in parallel with keeping
  downtime low.

• Report to Management on the progress and improvement of
  factory operational activities.

Requirements:-

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma,
  Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate
  Diploma, Professional Degree, Master’s Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic),
  Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Material
  Science), Engineering (Chemical) or equivalent.

• Minimum ten (10) years of working experience in the
  related field is required for this position. Preferably Managers specializing
  in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.

• Excellent interpersonal team building and both oral and
  written communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels of
  staff within the plant and externally.

• Must have good presentation skills, present and
  compilation of production data using MS Office (words, excel, powerpoint
  etc), budget & expenses preparation.

• Good knowledge of various quality management system and
  ISO standards such as ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.
