Job Description:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist
Engineers in the development of complex automated machinery and detailed
mechanical, electrical, and/or pneumatic drawings for new or existing
products using the latest release of SolidWorks and/or AutoCad software. - Participate
in all phases of projects, including requirement definition, design,
testing and/or integration and customer interface. - Generate
assembly drawings from detailed parts, sketches, and verbal instructions. - Develop
and maintain bills of materials (BOMs). - Generate
engineering change orders (ECOs). - Any
other adhoc assignment according to business needs.
Job Requirements:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Education/Training:
Associates degree with concentration in drafting. - Experience:
Minimum of four years drafting and design experience, with a minimum of
two years design experience, in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
Understand the concept of designing for cost effectiveness (serviceability
and manufacturability). - Skills/Technical
Requirements: - Advanced
knowledge of latest release of SolidWorks / AutoCAD. Ability to
independently anticipate, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks. - Ability
to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. - *
Mandarin Chinese-speaking candidates are highly preferred.
