Position Description:
DUTY STATION: MLOWO –MBOZI
REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER
MAIN FUNCTION AND DUTIES
– To head the finance and Administration Department
– To maintain company’s financial and accounting systems and controls
– To effectively and efficiently administer and execute the approved budget.
– Responsible for Capital Expenditure and Funding arrangements
– Responsible for formulating and implementing financial regulations, policies and procedures.
– To produce accurate and timely financial statements and reports for the company
– To safeguard the Assets of the company and advice to Heads of Departments
– To formulate procedures for the company administrative services manpower planning and training policies.
– To review scheme of services and staff regulations and make appropriate recommendations to management
– To act as public relations officer of the company.
– To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the general manager
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Holder of finance and Accounting Degree
• Possess professional accounting qualifications CPA (T) or equivalent and must be registered with NBAA
• With five (5) years experience in senior in senior post in a large organization.
• Masters degree/post graduate diploma in business management/administration or public administration will be an added advantage.
• Should be computer literate

TERM OF SERVICE:
• The successful candidate will be engaged on a three (3) years contract basis.
• The contract may be renewed depending on performance.
