Responsibilities
To set health, safety and environmental standards and introduce systems to ensure achievement and sustainability
To liase between the Marc managers and the Mine managers
To manage the Marc maintenance jointly with the Marc managers
To ensure compliance with all Barrick standards and legal regulations
To ensure compliance with the Marc contracts
To measure Marc contractor performance, and hold monthly score card meetings to discuss
To introduce a process of Continuous improvement by the Marc contractors
To ensure the resolution of Marc contractor problems
To carry out regular audits of all Marc equipment
To check and approve all Marc contractor invoices
Requirements
Qualified Diesel Mechanic, preferably with a served apprenticeship with a major earthmoving supplier
15 Years experience in Earthmoving, of which at least 5 years have been at foreman level, or above
Previous experience with Marc contract management
