generation and materials handling equipment and product support services in Tanzania for over 80 years.

Vacancy exists in Mantrac within the Service Department for the following position:
TITLE: Training Instructor
LOCATION: Dar es Salaam
REPORTS TO: Technical Training Manager
QUALIFICATION: B.Sc. Electrical/Mechanical or Electrical-Mechanical Engineering Background
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years working experience in a Caterpillar Service work overhauling, troubleshooting and reconditioning products systems.
SKILLS
High level of Communication and ‘Presentation skills : Very good written and spoken English
Computer literacy on basic programmes
Successful Completion of Trainee Service Engineers Program
POSITION BASIC PURPOSE:
To prepare and execute all training activities as directed by training manager and to achieve the company objectives by providing effective training services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation and execution of training courses
Participate in the formulation of course aims and objectives, contents and duration.
Preparation of course material and handouts
Assurance of all administrative and service facilities required to conduct the courses.
Perform evaluation of the training courses and reports it to training manager
Execute summer training programs for students when applicable.
Assist on the job training materials as well as handouts and check training aids as per course requirements.
Performs any other related duties as required.
