Head, Membership Services and Communication (Centre and
north) – Regional Office, Lilongwe (MCCCI – Malawi Confederation of Chambers of
Commerce and Industry)
Formulating and implementing strategic for identifying, recruiting and
retaining members for MCCCI, Analyzing the market with a view to identifying
existing and emerging members’ needs and challenges and responding to them,
Reviewing existing membership benefits and recom
mending changes where
appropriate and proposing new benefits for Executive Management’s approval,
Interacting and networking with members to identify and understand their needs
and requirements, and issues that impinge upon their businesses’ effective performance,
Closely networking with authorities, utility providers and other public and
private service delivery institutions for the benefit of the members, Ensuring
the implementation and delivery of membership benefits to members in different
membership categories, Submitting activity reports within defined time periods
to Executive Management
A minimum of Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any
other Marketing related degree obtained from a reputable university is a
prerequisite but preference will be given to those with higher level
qualifications, At least 7 yrs experience (for those with a Bachelors degree
and 5 yrs for those with advanced degrees) obtained in a position in a private
sector setting or with private sector interaction, Self motivated, team player
and result-oriented individuals with the ability to succeed in challenging
environments, Effective leadership, management and supervision skills are a
necessity in this position, A valid driving licence with clean driving record
