This position operates under a job share arrangement and provides effective and comprehensive dietetic interventions to both hospital inpatients and community residents of the Queanbeyan and Palerang Shires. The position provides outreach to the townships of Bungendore and Braidwood. The dietitian manages a varied caseload including diabetes, coronary heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, allergies and intolerances, overweight & obesity (adults and children), bowel disorders, failure to thrive, fussy eaters and eating disorders. A health promotion focus is also maintained by the dietetics service. The position is located at the Queanbeyan Health Service and operates as part of the multidisciplinary team.
This is a temporary part time position (up until 31/12/2012) classified as a Dietitian Level 2.
This position belongs to Southern NSW Local Health Network.
