Vacancy: ARTISAN RIGGER
Job Summary
●To carry out planned preventative and breakdown
maintenance through inspections,lifting, moving and positioning heavy objects
and servicing rigging equipment throughout the mine to ensure optimal plant
availability
Key Performance Areas
●Erection and dismantle of scaffolding
●Inspection of all rigging and lifting equipment
●Maintains records of rigging and lifting equipment
●Safety, Health, Environment and Quality
Technical Competencies
●Knowledge of lifting /rigging equipment
●Thorough understanding of TNMC SHEQ Procedures
●Application of Rigging knowledge during maintenance
Qualifications & Experience
●BGCSE plus NCC in Rigging
●The incumbent must have at least 3 years post qualification experience in
Rigging.
●Possession of a Crane Operator’s licence is an added advantage
