Job description
Reporting to the Processing Manager, the Engineer will hold a Bsc
in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, with a minimum of 15 years of
experience in the maintenance of heavy industry including electrical
construction projects with specific roles as follows:

Specific responsibilities will include:
• Development, implementation and successful management of
preventative and predictive maintenance programs.

• Maintaining mine electrical plant and reticulation equipment to
high levels of availability whilst controlling costs.

• Fully conversant in modern HV and LV substations.
• Experienced in Radioactive source instrumentation and safety.
• Experience competency in HV installations and system problem

• Experience in the installation and maintenance of modern

• Liaison with processing team to develop maintenance process.
• Knowledge in maintaining process control instrumentation.
• Maintenance of medium & high voltage electrical reticulation

• Knowledge of in-touch SCADA and Telemechanique modicon TSX PLC.
• Selection and management of maintenance contractors.
• Safety and environment procedure development and implementation.
• Experienced in maintaining hard rock crushers, mills, screens,
feeders, pumps, motors (DC, DC and Synchronous) and associate instrumentation.

• Eligible for statutory appointment to 13.1 of Botswana
