MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Reporting to the Vice-President & Operating Officer, the key position of Maintenance Manager is responsible for the direction, planning, implementation, monitoring, cleaning and control of all facility infrastructure, systems and equipment including all associated contract services, maintenance, repairs, capital projects, acquisition/disposition and administration thereof. This includes the management of all operational projects, increasing operational efficiencies; leading a department of trades people from various disciplines; administering and monitoring the preventative maintenance program; adherence to all company standard operating procedures and compliance with regulatory programs including Workplace Safety & Health, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP); and Environmental programs as required.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate from an accredited technology program and possess a certification or designation in the area of applied science or engineering (professional engineer, certified plant engineer or technologist) combined with a minimum of 5-8 years related experience. Journeyman status as an industrial mechanic, electrician or instrumentation is preferred. Your vast knowledge in the areas of mechanical engineering, project management, facilities management, systems engineering, equipment maintenance, design and drafting, computer applications along with demonstrated superior leadership skills to motivate your staff make you an integral addition to our team.
