Me to We seeks a Director of Sales, Me to We
Trips
to lead the department and grow sales of Me to We’s
international Youth Trips and Camps. As a natural leader, this role manages a
team of individuals with strong team mentorship, coaching, and management. This
individual will develop sales strategy, oversee the implementation of strategy,
and be responsible for operations of the department, ultimately accountable to
achieving sales targets for International Trips and Take Action Camp.
The success of the Me to We Youth Engagement Team is measured (at both the
departmental and organizational level) by the development and success of their
team as well as the number of youth engaged and retained in Me to We
Experiences and ultimately achieving year-end sales targets. The Me to We Youth
Engagement Team seeks a strong leader who will continually strengthen these
sales objectives while maintaining a constant focus on team development and
progression of the team.

There is a three (3)
month probationary period, upon reaching the three (3) month period, all staff
members are offered a health plan including dental and Employee Assistant
Program. Salary is to be negotiated. The position is based out of Me to We’s
office in Toronto (225 Carlton Street). While resumes are important, we want to

Responsibilities:
· Motivate, educate and lead a team of sales-driven individuals. This currently
includes an Associate Director, four Managers and thirteen Coordinators
· Share vision and drive activities to reach department and organizational
objectives
· Provide strong mentorship and constant feedback to the team
· Proactively manage a large pipeline
· Proactively manage changes in strategy, anticipate potential crises, devise
contingency plans and solutions
· Act as a member of the Me to We Director Team; uphold highest level of
professionalism, work with other Directors to drive organizational objectives
· Liaise with other department Directors and Associate Directors to drive
growth and organization success
· Find personal satisfaction in activities and responsibilities available in
the job; enjoying the essence of sales work, embracing and cultivating the Me
to We culture
Team Leadership
· Coach and mentor one Associate Director and four Managers; optimize their
capabilities and assist them in achieving meaningful careers within the
organization.
· Train team members with respect to sales tactics, product information, and
key demographic profiles.
· Run regular team meetings, sharing departmental and organizational priorities
and ensuring team is properly set up for weekly priorities and action items
· Lead the team through training and mentoring, goal setting and check-ins that
recognize achievement and encourage staff development
· Coach, measure, and mentor in order to meet sales targets and build a strong
team
· Liaise with all other Me to We and Free The Children departments to ensure
strategic working relationships are maintained and teams are properly supported
as required.
Sales Strategy
and Implementation

· Work in conjunction with senior team to define the annual sales and marketing
plan to include a monthly passenger and revenue sales plan and an annual
marketing, product, and resource plan
· Accountable to the organization for the Youth Trips & Camp team achieving
its monthly and annual sales targets.
· Responsible for monitoring the health of the sales pipeline in order to
ensure sales targets can be achieved.
· Achieve stated growth targets through new business development strategies
· Maintain a consistently high standard of customer engagement and relationship
building with maturity and professionalism
· Establish customer satisfaction and loyalty with our existing clients
· Ensure consistent use, by the team, of Me to We’s client management tool,
Salesforce, consistently refining the team’s use of the system to improve
efficiencies and reporting.
· Act as an escalation point for client issue resolution.
Financial
Monitoring & Analysis

· Ensure systems are built to capture data for analysis and that all accounting
needs are met
· Report on a weekly basis the current status of financials for the department
· Create and analyze sales reports to be able to recommend top selling products
to the marketing team and influence the next design/ production cycle.

Skills and
Qualifications:

· Successful completion of a Bachelor degree or Master’s degree in a related
field
· Entrepreneurial spirit with a sales-driven mindset and the ability to lead a
large team
· Desire to mentor team members and foster an overall team atmosphere focussed
on individual development
· Calm and confident demeanor, strong ability to develop rapport with both
youth and adults over phone and email
· Proven ability to problem solve and multi-task during high-stress situations
· Previous Sales, Business Development and Client Management experience
· Sound judgment, decision-making and analytical skills
· Excellent oral and written communications skills, highly organized, and
demonstrated professionalism
· Previous experience with customer service
· International travel experience an asset
· Personal values that match Me to We and FTC core values
· Experience working with basic word processing (e.g., Microsoft Word,
Microsoft Excel) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
· Has valid driver’s license
· Must be eligible to work in Canada
