Green Teacher magazine is looking for a recent graduate with a passion
for environmental education to take on the position of Editorial and
Marketing Assistant. Green Teacher is a small non-profit magazine that
focuses on delivering exciting new ideas and activities in the sphere
of environmental education. This job is a crash course in all aspects
of running a quarterly magazine: editorial, circulation, marketing and
advertising. One minute you might be working on a marketing promotion,
the next minute you might be
editing an article. This position is
full-time and pays $15/hour for 40 hours a week, starting the week of
August 5th.

Duties include:
• edit book reviews and articles for the magazine
• assist in the preparation of new e-books
• create promotional materials
• fulfill subscription orders
• manage subscriber database
• update website and social media profiles
Skills
• Graduate of a post-secondary program
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g.
Photoshop, Indesign)
• Strong command of with WordPress and social media like Facebook and Twitter
• Knowledge of HTML an asset
• Extreme attention to detail
• Knowledge of French and/or Spanish an asset
