About The
Role
Advancing
your career at William Buck, you will be exposed to a wide variety of clients,
business models and government funding programs. A typical day will include:
- Apply
the R&D tax legislation and commentary to R&D activity specifics - Working
with our clients to understand the innovation initiatives they are
undertaking - Participate
in project identification interviews and assistance, and gathering and
recording information from a variety of technical and financial people in
the client’s business - Support
the R&D service line development by providing input to strategy and
making continual operational efficiency gains - Information
analysis – obtain and review information and match facts to the
eligibility requirements of the R&D Tax Incentive scheme - Financial
analysis – calculation and substantiation of expenditure incurred by
clients throughout the course of their innovation projects - Project
management – work, managing staff, planning and budgeting. - Drafting
proposals, engagement letters and general R&D tax compliance and
consulting matters including writing project descriptions and advice
letters.
Qualifications/Experience
Degree
qualified (ideally within Tax, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Law, or IT)
Five (5) or more years’ experience in R&D tax consulting required
