Guard Yourself Against Lust

Lust according to my dictionary is a strong physical desire to have sex with somebody, usually without associated feelings of love or affection. The Bible went ahead to add that when anyone looks at a woman lustfully, he has committed adultery with her in her heart. Many will wonder why the Bible is so strict on its position. This is because for every lustful glance, you are likely to look for things to justify your fantasies.
Before David got into trouble with Bethsheba, he saw a woman bathing from the top of his palace, he inquired about the woman and took her. Pay attention to the progression: ‘saw’, ‘inquires’, ‘took’. If what you are looking is not yours, pull your eyes away immediately.

Take captive of every of your thoughts . Police your mind; instead of giving in to your daydreams or the internet or magazine, fill you mind with God’s position on lust and build up your walls of protection against it.
