 In its Strategies, Youth for
Christ/Rwanda reaches the youth through Education and thus started and owns KIGALI
CHRISTIAN SCHOOL.
It is against this back ground that
Youth for Christ/Rwanda wishes to recruit competent and qualified person to
fill the position of Big Sister for Residential Life Program.

SECONDARY SCHOOL BIG SISTER ( Residential Life program )-Full time
Requirements:                                                                     
  • Follower
    of Jesus Christ and actively involved in a local church;
  • Passion
    to serve and work hard;
  • Self-disciplined
    and teachable;
  • University
    degree in Education or Management
  • Fluent
    in English;
  • Ability
    to communicate in French is an added advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To
    model spiritual and servant leadership to staff and students;
  • To
    promote the gospel of grace through our Lord Jesus Christ;
  • To
    lead the residential program by promoting the mission of RYFC and KCS;
  • To
    participate in planning and evaluating for residential program;
  • To
    develop, organize, implement and monitor the before/after school program
    for KCS boarding students;
  • To
    discipline and mentor students;
  • To
    effectively communicate regularly with parents;
  • To
    effectively communicate and report regularly with the Residential Life
    Director, school officials and teachers;
  • To
    implement the residential life policy and procedures;
  • To
    meet regularly with residential life director;
  • To
    promote a structured family environment that promotes the spiritual,
    physical, academic and emotional development of residential students;
  • To
    maintain discipline for the safety and development of residential
    students;
  • To
    assist students in their academic progress at KCS;
  • To
    reside with boarding students in dorms to ensure proper oversight;
  • To
    regularly evaluate and suggest adaption to program that offer the best
    services that our resources allow.
