Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator

implementing development programs in 15 Districts of Rwanda.
World Vision seeks
to hire a highly qualified, ded
icated and experienced national for the position
of EKN Project M&E
Coordinator. This position will be based at the Eastern Regional Office in
Kigali, and reporting to the EKN Project Manager.
Purpose of the position:
The purpose of EKN
Project Manager is to provide managerial, administrative, programmatic and
financial oversight to the EKN funded project. The EKN funded Project seeks to
promote Health, nutrition and food security project for designated Community.
The position will ensure that the objectives of the project are met effectively
and efficiently. The position will also ensure that all administrative and
financial regulations that govern EKN grants through UNICEF is respected in the
course of project implementation and reporting system.

The major
responsibilities:
- Develop,
implement and coordinate systems for tracking the project development
objectives, outcomes, outputs, activities and in puts indicators and
develop forms and procedures to support monitoring; - Assist
EKN Project manager to develop systematic and realistic monitoring plans
that capture quantitative and qualitative data to report on all indicators
in proposals; - Conduct
monthly and quarterly monitoring and Evaluation and develop M&E
reports highlighting progress of implementation and recommending key areas
requiring redress. - Plan,
design and facilitate mid-term and final evaluations of EKN Project; - Follow
up the practical implementation, application and periodic update of
monitoring and evaluation recommendations and systems/Quality assurance/; - Act as
the M&E focal point for developing, standardizing and deploying survey
tools, and other data collection forms to realize the effective use of
monitoring plans; - Check
and review data collected from field for documentation and prepare the
M&E findings for publications; - Plan,
facilitate and conduct training field staff and local partners on the
logical framework, data management, data analysis and results-oriented programming,
basic surveying and sampling techniques, monitoring and evaluation methods
and principles and report writing techniques and requirements for WV and
other relevant donors; - Prepare
monthly, quarterly , semi-annual and annual narrative report and ensure
that reports are submitted on time with quality - Promote
major cross cutting themes including environment, gender, protection,
disability, peace building and Christian commitment
Qualifications:
Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be
acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or
on-the-job training:
- Educational
level required: Should possess a bachelor degree in Statistics, public
health or other very relevant field. - Technical
Training qualifications required on project Monitoring and Evaluation or
Project Planning and Management. - Experience:
3-5 years of experience on relevant position - Must
be proficient in both written and spoken English, French and Kinyarwanda
languages - Good
interpersonal, excellent reporting skills (written and spoken English),
excellent Information Communications Technology skills including
proficiency with main office software and knowledge of GIS, databases
management and information systems and internet tools. - Experience
in working with international NGO of 3years - Should
have a motorcycle driving permit.
