Evaluation Specialist Job Description:
World Vision is looking for highly qualified and motivated persons for the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for Neglected Tropical Diseases Control Program (NTDCP) in he Head Office.
The above position is pending funding.
Job Summary:
*To provide coordination and leadership for monitoring and evaluation.
The M&E Specialist will be responsible to asses and strengthen the NTDCP
M&E systems and tools and build capacity at all levels for effective and
correct use
* Plan and oversee M&E activities ensuring effective use of data in decision-making and Strengthen the overall framework for NTDCP M&E and ensure linkage to DHMIS
* Oversee and execute M&E activities included in the Annual Work Plan, with particular focus on results and impacts as well as in lesson learning
* Design and implement a system to identify, analyze, document and disseminate lessons learned
Job Requirements:
* Advance Degree in public health, health sciences, or the social
sciences with three (3) years field based work experience in
conducting M&E on large, multi-regional public-health programs
* Working experience with the Ghana Health Service and knowledge of
US Government M&E expectations preferred
* Strong knowledge of M&E methods and approaches (including
quantitative, qualitative and participatory)
* Proven ability to Plan, design and implement M&E systems, tools,
and guides
* Strong facilitation, report writing and communications skills
* Good computer – data management and analytical skills. Advanced
knowledge of excel will be an advantage
* The preferred candidate must be a committed Christian
