Background
The Workforce Development Authority (WDA) is a legally established Government
Institution under law Number 03/2009 of 27/03/2009 with a mandate of promoting,
facilitating, and guiding the development and upgrading of skills and
competencies of the national workforce in order to enhance competitiveness and
employability through strong and dynamic TVET system. In order to expand access
of all Rwandans to skill training and upgrading opportunities, the Rwanda
National Police (RNP) in cooperation with the WDA have set up this Vocational
Training Centre (VTC) within the Gishari Police Training College to initially
offer training in the four areas of Masonry, Plumbing, Domestic Electrical
installation and Motor Vehicle Inspection, at the Technical and Vocation
Certificate Training level.

WDA and the College Management desire to put together a competent team of
trainers to oversee training in the VTC. Accordingly, WDA seeks to recruit a
number of staff on permanent terms forthe VTC. Successful candidates will be
based at the VTC in Gishari. In consequence, the WDA invites suitable
candidates to apply for the following vacancies:

1)    Teachers VTC Program
•    English (1)
•    Entrepreneurship (1)
•    ICT (1)   
A1 Diploma in related field, with 2 years of experience

2)    Instructors VTC Program
•    Masonry (2)
•    Plumbing (2)
•    Domestic Electrical Installation (2)
•    Automotive Inspection (2)  
A1 Diploma in TVET related teaching field or A2 with at least 3 years of
experience in teaching area

3)    Workshop Assistant VTC Program
•    Masonry (1)
•    Plumbing (1)
•    Domestic Electrical Installation (1)
•    Automotive Inspection (1)  
A2 in TVET related area
