Position: Vegetable Production Manager

Williams Farm is looking for a Vegetable Production Manager to join
their team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the
planned organic crops are planted, maintained, weeded, watered,
harvested, and packaged. Leadership of the field hands will be part of
the job as will operating hand tools and machinery.
This role will also be expected to sup
port farm in following areas:
• Set up and maintenance of maple syrup lines and equipment
• Boiling and bottling maple syrup
• Field Work
• Building repairs and new construction
Qualifications/Skills for the ideal candidate include the following:
• Personable, able to lead others
• Organized, can work to a schedule and meet targets
• Mechanical aptitude
• Drivers license, able to drive equipment such as tractors
• Knowledge of commercial organic vegetable growing and maple syrup production
• Sales skills an asset
We are willing to provide some training and wages will vary with experience.

Hours of Work: Mainly weekday with some weekend and evening work, 40
to 50 hrs/week
