WaterAid works through supporting local organizations
and government authorities to design low cost sustainable projects using
appropriate and affordable technologies that can be managed by the community
itself. WaterAid also seeks to influence the policy change through government
and other key international organizations to secure and protect the right of
poor people to safe, affordable water and sanitation services.

A member of the Senior Management Team, the
Director People and Organisation Development takes the lead on the development
of Human Resource strategies, policies and procedures to enable good people
management and an environment where people are able to give of their best. This
includes ensuring that the physical work environment of the Head Office is well
equipped, attractive, safe and hygienic. It also includes ensuring an excellent
HR and administrative support service to the WaterAid Tanzania programme.
