WASH Promotion Assistant – Pader/Agago

General Description of the Role
This role will be within the GOAL WASH team. with strong links to all other programme in particular Water, Sanitation and Hygiene The post holder will also be working closely with Sub County Extension Staff, Community leaders and schools. The post primarily will be involved in the promotion and monitoring of Water, Sanitation and hygiene activities in the community.

Job requirement
Requirements (Essential)
• At least 2 year’s experience with an NGO in a related field;
• Ability to read and write to a high standard both in English and Luo;
• Computer literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Proven ability to effectively motivate, and engage people;
• Keen to learn and develop skills;
• Willing to live and work in an insecure rural environment.

Desirable
• Working knowledge of CLTS (Community Led Total Sanitation)
• Good local knowledge of the area
• Qualifications in community participation and or training methods
