Join NCC’s NEW Roving Reporter and CV Blogger teams!
YOU can help tell the amazing stories of our Conservation Volunteers events.
How it works:
As a Roving Reporter you will receive an official NCC press badge and have access to a digital camcorder generously donated by Toshiba* to exclusively cover CV events. Roving Reporters have the option of using the Toshiba camcorder to interview their fellow Conservation Volunteers, taking photos with a regular camera, or just interviewing the old-fashioned way with pen and paper — whatever feels most natural! You can interview other volunteers through a traditional Q&A session, or you can follow your creativity by writing a newspaper style article or a creative writing piece, or anything else you can think of!
As a CV Blogger, send us your stories, sketches, photos and experiences as a Conservation Volunteer, or you can share your story on your own blog and send us your link.
We want to know, what motivates Conservation Volunteers? What was the best part of the event? How will you keep conservation with you after the event? Whether you’re a seasoned reporter/blogger or just yet aspiring, we want your story!
After the event, send us your photos, videos, exclusive interviews, and blogs, and we will upload your work to our CV website, CV Flickr group and NCC’s YouTube channel, as well as NCC’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
All ages and experience levels welcomed!
*As a proud supporter of the Nature Conservancy of Canada, Toshiba Canada is providing digital camcorders to support the Conservation Volunteer Roving Reporters across the country. The Roving Reporters will capture short and fun video clips of Conservation Volunteers at work.
