PURPOSE
OF POSITION:
To support the finance team in the selection, development and implementation of
new data management systems and development of analysis processes. This
position takes direction from the Director of Finance and works closely with
the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, Controller and Reporting
Manager. The Business & Project Manager Analyst must have a good understanding
of banking methodology as well as a strong technical background in financial
systems and analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management :
- Implementation
of new global microfinance data management system - Research
viable options available in the marketplace and within World Vision - Lead
in the selection of the system and vendors - Lead
in the design of database architecture - Manage
the migration of 5 years of data - Interface
with business partners in testing and population of new system - Manage
development of tools and reports in system as requested by VFI Senior
Management Director change process for MFI data collection - Develop
training programFinancial Analysis:
- Create
financial models to support management decision making processes - Direct
in design and development of loan level portfolio reporting to VFI from
MFI network - Engage
with all levels of staff to gather necessary information for required
analysisPersonal Development:
- Encourage
others in their work, - Attendance
at weekly chapel and devotions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:
- Requires
a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or
equivalent (MBA or CFA a plus) - Requires
a minimum 5 years of experience in financial/project management
(banking/finance experience preferred) - Must
be detail oriented and have project management experience (global
implementation preferred) - Requires
ability to analyze and define solutions to financial problems in a
multinational environment. - Must
be experienced in use of accounting computer software systems, with
advanced Excel knowledge. - Must
be able to simultaneously manage multiple priorities and projects. - Must
be a team playerPREFERRED:
- Effective
communication with others in both written and verbal capacities. - Extensive
banking experience - Global
information system implementation.
