VACI-Ghana is a registered non-profit non-governmental humanitarian organization. Our primary objective is to promote community development in Ghana while concurrently promoting responsible and meaningful cultural integration. VACI-Ghana adopts a focused and result-oriented approach in carrying out its stated goals. To this end, VACI-Ghana’s work is focused on four (4) administrative districts in the South Eastern part of Ghana. This approach ensures continuity of volunteer effort and developmental support for communities that really need it.

Job Description:
VACI-Ghana is currently going through a phase of accelerated growth. To support this we are looking for Volunteer Country Coordinators from all over the world that can help us share the VACI- Ghana experience.
If you are selected to be a VACI-Ghana, Country Coordinator you will be working in a flexible, international team of young people committed to making a positive change. Your responsibilities will include:
• Recruit volunteers to travel to Ghana for our community development projects
• Past Volunteers/Fundraising/Project Management experience and logistics planning is a plus
• Ability to network and build relationships to promote VACI-Ghana’s programs
• Has great Passion for empowering people and making a difference
• Believes in and willing to promote our mission
• Communicates effectively with all VACI staff, volunteers and partner NGO’s
• Developing a local recruitment plan for VACI-Ghana volunteers
• Communicating with potential new volunteers
• Giving presentations
• Liaise and communicates regularly with Ghana office & Country Directors to provide input where necessary

Requirements:
• Strong communication/ marketing skills
• Ability to speak to large groups and/ or individuals
• Good writing skills
• Assist with coordinating orientations of field volunteers
• Ability to work in an international team
