of their personal/ household finances and micro enterprises.

UOB Transformation
Department wishes to recruit 1 qualified, competent and proactive staff for the
following position:

Impact

ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

DONOR RELATIONS

  • Work on
    timely establishment and creation of appropriate itineraries for UOB’s
    support partners including but not limited to Opportunity International
    (0I), Hope International and World Relief and oversee all necessary
    logistics and accurately represent UOB and its mission through all
    communications with visitors/donors.
  • Maintain
    an inventory of suitable hotels, restaurants, transportation and help in
    translation as needed for conducting Insight Trip visits.
  • Maintain
    a database of all visitors, including the number of visits, and regularly
    report to the Director of Transformational Impact.

SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL
PERFOMANCE MANAGEMENT (SSPM)

  • Assist
    in the development of partnerships related to social performance,
    including potential sources of funding for SSPM activities and build
    relationships with others in the field.
  • Actively
    participate in the collection and analyzing of data to promote and measure
    social and spiritual performance improvement.
  • Assist
    in coordinating social audits and client impact assessment and
    satisfaction surveys.

CHURCH ENGAGEMENT

  • Work
    with Director of Transformational Impact to forge mutually beneficial
    partnerships with local churches and Christian NGOs that would result in
    the empowerment of church leaders and spiritual transformation of UOB
    clients and staff.
  • Develop
    and implement strategies for mobilizing the church in Rwanda to
    participate in community transformation programs.

BACK UP
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve
    as Director of Transformational Impact and Kiva Coordinator back up.
  • Assist
    in other UOB activities as may be required by supervisor or UOB senior
    management

QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum
    Education Qualification and Experience
  • University-level
    degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Economics, Public
    Relations, Tourism or similar fields;
  • Strong
    organizational, multi-tasking, time management, public speaking and
    administrative skills.
  • Excellent
    international cultural awareness and sensitivity with the ability to
    foresee and sense needs of clients, field staff, as well as needs of
    Western visitors while traveling in Rwanda.
  • Excellent
    customer service and communication skills including written,
    interpersonal, and phone.
  • Possesses
    strong knowledge base / understanding of social performance principles and
    methods for social performance management;
  • Relevant
    experience of 3-5 years in Management, Leadership, Public Relations,
    Research and Development.
  • Fluent
    in English and Kinyarwanda
