Public Service and Labor would like to announce the following vacant post.
Documentation
Archives:
1 Post
- File,
keep and manage the archives, books and documentary funds of the
institution in optimal conditions of security and facilitate their
consultation by the users. - Organize
the archives and library filing and management of the institution: Proceed
to the annual inventory of archives and documents of the library and of
their physical state – Elaborate the thesaurus for the archives and for
the library – Organize the documentation and the archives of each unit –
Update the data basis of the archives and library catalogues. - Organize
and monitor the supply of the library of the institution: Centralize the
needs for documentation – Analyze and transmit the corresponding reports
stating the needs in books, press, magazines and periodical – Estimate the
expenses to be done – Register the Entry of new books in the library –
Sort, catalogue and file the new documents with the aid of the thesaurus –
Exchange information with other centers of research specialized in the
fields of activities that interest the institution to enrich the
documentation (notably via the Web).
Job
Requirements
Bachelor´s degree in
Library &Information Science, Documentation Studies;
A1 Library
&Information Science, with 3 year working experience;
Or other relevant
field

Service and Labor (MIFOTRA), in Human Resource’s Office or download it from the
website of P.S.C (www.psc.gov.mw), this job announcement is also available at
MIFOTRAs website (www.mifotra.gov.rw), not late 23/10/2012 which will be the
deadline of submitting the Application form at 17.00 PM Sharp. Written tests
and interviews will be held later to selected successful candidates.
