settings. Recognizing implementation barriers unique to each setting, we train
local managers and service providers to strengthen health systems, integrate
system elements, and bring improvements to scale.

About the Project:
URC seeks an experienced Human Resources professional
to support an upcoming USAID-funded project titled “The Public Sector Systems
Strengthening (PS3)”. The project will assist the Government of Tanzania to
strengthen the public system to promote the delivery, quality, and use of
services, particularly for underserved populations. The project will focus on
national decentralization efforts, increasing the authority and effectiveness
of local governments and policies and procedures related to budgeting and human
resources.
At minimum, the Human Resources Manager shall have:
  • Proven experience providing advisory services to
    ensure equity in distribution of human resources for effective service
    delivery to the most vulnerable populations
  • Advanced degree in human resources or related
    field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in working in
    Human Resources
  • Proven ability to liaise successfully with
    government ministries and to foster and maintain good working
    relationships with senior officials
  • Experience in managing staff
  • Fluency in English
