Scholarship Description: The inaugural USCAR scholarship will support PhD research in the area of
safety and accident causation in safety critical systems. The proposed research
will be underpinned by the systems approach philosophy and will focus on
understanding and/or enhancing safety in safety critical domains such as road
transport, rail transport, workplace safety, led outdoor recreation, disaster
response etc.

Duration of award (s): Scholarship is offered for three years.
What does it cover? Total offer is about: – Stipend (living allowance) A$24, 653 per annum
