The University of Nottingham’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Science (SVMS) and the Pride Veterinary Hospital have established an exciting and long term partnership as part of our ‘Clinical Associate’
model: delivering clinical rotations at high quality veterinary establishments, taught by highly motivated clinical educators, and lead by University of Nottingham staff. We are currently seeking to appoint further clinical academic staff to work in our state of the art facility to complement our current staff and are especially seeking staff within the following disciplines:
- Small Animal Neurology
- Small Animal Cardiology
- Small Animal Surgery
- Small Animal Medicine
- Small Animal Ophthalmology
Candidates should possess a primary veterinary degree that is able to be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and further qualifications to Certificate or Diploma level in the relevant specialisation.
Salary, depending on skills and experience, will be within the range:
- Clinical Lecturer scale: £37,735 – £48,583 per annum
- Clinical Associate Professor scale: £51,531 – £64,294 per annum
Salary progression beyond these scales is subject to performance. In addition, a non-consolidated clinical supplement of up to 20% (dependent upon clinical duties and role) is available for these posts. The School will consider part-time employment for these posts.
It is a condition of these posts that satisfactory enhanced disclosure is obtained from the Criminal Records Bureau.
