Description
Based at the School of Veterinary Sciences, Langford, North Somerset, this appointment provides an opportunity to become involved in a range of veterinary education projects under the supervision of Bristol’s new Professor of Veterinary Education, Professor Sarah Baillie. Proposed areas of research include the following: transition into practice, informal lifelong learning and Web 2.0, clinical skills and simulation, curriculum development and evaluation.
You will be expected to have a Masters level qualification and/or a veterinary degree. A PhD in a related area is desirable.
This position is available immediately (upon appointment) and will be funded for two years.
If successful, you may be appointed either on a fixed-term or an open-ended contract depending on the extent of your previous relevant research experience. Three years’ appropriate and relevant experience at another higher education institution would normally lead to an appointment on an open-ended contract.
