TPO Project Coordinator Job Vacancy in Uganda

Job summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall technical leadership to the TPO project in
Amudat including managing all aspects of project implementation, support supervision and liaison with district local governments. You will be responsible for managing staff and taking overall responsibility for the day to day project operations and work planning

Requirement:
• Familiarity with community participatory methodologies and ability to mobilize and engage with formal and informal traditional structures.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision in a remote environment.
• Leadership, people management skills, team building and innovativeness.
• Program development and resource mobilization skills.

You should have worked at least a minimum of 3 years’ in a project mid-level management position. You should also possess a Degree in Social Work or a related field of study, with demonstrable experience in child protection, psychosocial support and/or gender based violence. Qualified local candidates are particularly encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Work related field in addition to 3 years work experience among rural communities. You should also be able to speak the local language.
