Reporting to the Manager, Business Analysis, the Business
Analyst – SQL/Reporting Specialist, IT Applications will be responsible for
preparing and analyzing reporting data from a number of our application
systems, and preparing reports and solutions for our different teams.

Responsibilities:
§ Preparing custom SQL queries and reports from a variety of
sources/systems for internal stakeholders

§ Elicit reporting requirements using document analysis, use
cases, business analysis, task and workflow analysis

§ Critically evaluate information gathered to distinguish
user requests from the true underlying needs ensuring proposed solutions are
flexible to account for changes and foreseeable future needs

§ Facilitate discussions between technical and business
groups to establish shared goals and metrics

§ Comprehensive application and report testing
§ Set up SQL Server Reporting Services and convert existing

§ Prepare system and report documentation
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
§ Advanced proficiency in SQL server, SQL Server Reporting
Services and extensive experience writing complex, efficient SQL queries

§ Advanced Microsoft Excel (including macros & VBA)

§ Experience with SQL Trace utility (setting up traces and
