Based in our Lidcombe R&D facility, the primary objective of this newly
created role is to write and develop software to satisfy the performance
requirements determined by the company.

Reporting to the Engineering Projects Manager, your responsibilities will
include but not limited to:
• Ensure that the software is documented to the standard set by the company;
• Provide technical expertise support for new products and system development
to both internal and external customers including sales, production and service
teams;
• Attend customer meetings with internal staff such as Key Account
Managers/Sales Managers to offer technical solutions for the customer;
• Enhance existing software and fix bugs

The person we are seeking will possess the following skills & attributes:
• Degree/Master Degree in Software or Electronic Engineering;
• 5+ years’ experience programming in a design and development role with an
emphasis on embedded applications – Linux, C, C++;
• Experience in IP networking;
• Experience in wireless networking – eg Wi-Fi, BT, BTLE, Zigbee;
• Experience with ARM processors;
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills;
• Proven ability to work within a team environment;
• Proven organisational skills with an ability to multitask and drive projects
through to completion
