Reporting to the Executive Board, the Executive
Director will oversee the overall operation and management of the BC District
Council. Leading a membership of approximately 800 Members, the position
includes responsibility for strategic leadership, budgetary vision, while
maintaining stakeholder relations. The ideal candidate will be the lead staff

decisions and managing t

As spokesperson for the District Council, the
position includes various external industry responsibilities, including
representing the DGC BC at the Motion Picture Production Industry Association,
liaising with federal, provincial and municipal government officials, and
maintaining relationships with the Directors Guild of America and DGC National
Executive Board and Staff..

This high profile position requires a
resourceful, committed and effective leader to deliver high standards of
service to our Membership and clients. The successful candidate must have at
least 10 years of established leadership experience within the creative
industries, and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of overseeing
not-for-profit organizations.
