The
Teacher Training Program (TTP) Rwanda is a five-year blended (face-to-face and
online) training Program seeking to enhance the capacity of secondary school
teachers (in-service and pre-service) in the teaching of mathematics, biology,
chemistry and physics with the use of information technologies as a key
component in teaching and learning. In partnership with the Government of
Rwanda, the Rwanda education board (REB) and the University of Rwanda college
of education (UR-CE), the Program will equip teachers with skills, tools and
resources to implement the competency based curriculum (CBC) using the
Mathematics and Sciences for Sub-Saharan Africa (MS4SSA) approach adopted from
the World Bank.

the Driver & Logistics Assistant, you will provide timely and safe
transport services in an official car for program supplies, employees or any
person designated by the Program Manager TTP such as official visitors and
guests on the basis of an approved transport request, ensure maintenance of all
vehicles is carried out in a timely manner, ensure security of program
vehicles, immediately report any involvement of program or office vehicle(s) in
accidents, including minor accidents, damage, loss or theft of vehicle
fittings, contribute to the completion of any required documentation related to
accident insurance claims, regularly check the condition of the entire vehicle,
including battery water levels, engine oil, automatic transmission fluid,
brakes and brake fluid, tires.

you have what we need?

- Minimum
of a secondary school education certificate is required, a Bachelor’s
degree is an asset - At
least five (5) years’ work experience as a driver and in logistics in
Rwanda - Possess
a valid driver’s license, with no major accidents in the past 5 years - Demonstrate
knowledge of defensive driving, preferably with certification in the same - Experience
or basic training in logistics management a desired advantage - Experience
working in an NGO is an added advantage - Disciplined,
punctual and patient to meet and/or exceed Program transport needs - Full
knowledge of Kigali City and of Rwanda in general - Ability
and write and read in English and Kinyarwanda. Knowledge of French and
added advantage - Ability
to transport passengers and or Program materials during regular working
hours during weekdays and weekends - Ability
to tolerate working hours outside the normal work schedule
