supply infrastructure improvements in the cities of Robertsport, Sanniquellie, and Voinjama. The improved water systems are expected to provide substantial public health and economic development benefits in the three target cities.
Responsibilities: Participation on a multidisciplinary team of experts to plan, design, and support construction, operation and maintenance of piped municipal water supply infrastructure (treatment, storage, and distribution). Build capacity of junior engineering staff and local institutions in these areas. Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years directly relevant water engineering experience in an equivalent position. Strong knowledge of and prior experience on municipal water supply engineering projects, including planning, detailed design, construction, and operations. Must be able to independently carry out detailed engineering design and be familiar with Computer Aided Design software (e.g. AutoCAD).
Education:
University Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, preferably with water supply engineering emphasis.
