The
study examined leprosy, its challenges selected persons face after rehabilitation
into the society in Eku Community, Delta State by examining the implication for
health education/promotion. In examining the work, four research questions and
hypotheses were drawn. The descriptive survey research design was adopted for
the study while the sample was 160 respondents obtained through the stratified
and simple random sampling techniques. Data were collected and analyzed through
the use of structured questionnaire and the use of frequency distribution
tables and chi-square statistics at 0.05 level of significance which was used
in testing the hypotheses. Data collected were presented, analysed and
discussed. Based on the discussions, conclusions were made based on the
formulated hypotheses.
