INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
SECURITY MANAGER
The Bank is looking for a
seasoned, dynamic, highly-driven IT Executive with strong leadership skills to
undertake the role IT Security Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for
ensuring that all physical and logical security is in place and complies with
Group guidelines. They will be tasked with ensuring that all country IT
security requirements are incorporated into and aligned to Group IT security
guidelines; identify shortcomings within IT security; and implement appropriate
policies to ensure best practice and adhere to Group standards. The successful
candidate will also be responsible for reporting and tracking any security
breaches.
The incumbent will also be
responsible for performing IT Risk Assessments for existing/new Hardware and
Software, ensuring that antivirus software is up-to-date and that appropriate
hardware/software is in place and fully functional. Furthermore, the incumbent
will be responsible for ensuring successful patch management process across the
network using Altiris Software and maintenance of IT Disaster Recovery Plan and
facilitate all DR planning and testing, in liaison with the Line Manager.
The candidate will also manage
risk and enforce adherence to IT governance and standards. In addition, the
incumbent will be responsible for implementing effective in-country Disaster
Recovery Plans, and ensuring alignment with overall Business Continuity
Management Plans. In addition, the Security Manager will be responsible for
excellent customer service and people management.
Requirements
To be considered for this
position, you will need at least a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related field
and experience in some or all of the following areas:
- IT Security
- Technical Support
- Systems Administration
- Applications Support
- Electronic Banking/Channels Support
- Programming and Project Management
At least five years’ experience
at Management Level is required for this position. Experience in Banking would
be an added advantage.
