is a young, rapidly scaling organization pioneering a new approach to aid.
Spark proactively reaches out to rural poor villages and helps community
members to design, implement and manage their own social impact projects. We’ve
mobilized over 40 communities in Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Guatemala, and
Ethiopia to manage social impact projects including schools, water wells,
community farms, and more.

Spark
MicroGrants is seeking a Finance Director capable of building a finance system
from scratch, running quickbooks and generating both internal and external
reports for the organization. Anyone interested in the position must be
motivated, independent and excited by the chance to make a difference in the
early stages of a growing organization. The finance director will receive
exceptional on the ground experience and a rare opportunity to work firsthand
with a host of rural communities addressing multi-sectoral needs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
degree in accounting or related field is required - Candidate
must have demonstrated success in past leadership: achieving ambitious,
measurable results in academic, professional, extracurricular, or
volunteer settings - English
fluency - Quickbooks
fluency, or ability to learn independently and quickly - Familiarity
with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel - Superior
organizational ability: planning well and managing responsibilities
