The Sol Cuisine Marketing Internship is an opportunity to develop your marketing and sales skills while learning the ins and outs of the food industry from both retail and foodservice angles. You will leave this fall internship with a strong grounding in the differences between brokers/distributors/retailers and how each play a role in the process of buying and selling foods. You will have had the opportunity to work on projects related to the largest natural retailers and foodservice chain accounts in Canada and the USA. You will also learn about food manufacturing — with a vegan, kosher, halal, non-GMO, gluten free spin. You will be part of the process of developing and reviewing marketing/advertising and sales materials.
You are:
– a self starter who can produce great work with minimal supervision
– a keen learner who wants to get their hands in several different projects
– a great writer who will help produce content for our website, blog and social media streams
– interested in building your social media experience
– flexible
– positive — you bring a can-do attitude to every task
– organized — you can manage large and small projects, keeping an eye on the big picture while paying attention to fine details
– keen to support the growth of vegan protein alternatives in the Canadian and US market — ie: you’re veggie-friendly and veggie-interested!
