THE
ROLE
As
the casual driver, you will provide transport for staff, visitors or errands to
destination, based on requests and conform safety and traffic regulations, in
order to contribute to timely and safely arrival.
KEY
RESPONSABILITIES
  • Drive
    passengers, visitors or deliver errands within the identified areas.
  • Provide
    transportation of organisational equipment as needed;
  • Ensure
    vehicle is in good working order through regular maintenance including
    cleaning and daily checks of oil, fuel, coolant, etc.;
  • Record
    information on each journey in vehicle log book, including daily mileage,
    oil changes, etc.;
  • Track
    of periodical service schedule and insurance
  • Identify
    any damage and report these to supervisor,
  • Have
    end responsibility for use of car, clean and fuel vehicle, check
    inventory and status of the vehicle,
  • Perform
    miscellaneous errands on temporary basis out of the office;
  • Perform
    any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor,
QUALIFICATION
REQUIREMENTS
  • Professional
    driving experience, preferably for an international organization;
  • Experience
    with basic vehicle maintenance and with driving in urban areas;
  • Valid
    driver’s license and continuous safe driving record;
  • Competency
    in Spoken English and Kinyarwanda.
