Required Qualifications
• Form IV/VI Certificate with ATEC I & II or Ordinary Diploma in
Accountancy.
• Computer knowledge in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Power Point and
Publisher, etc.) is necessary.
• Applicants should be between 25-45 years old.
Duties and
Responsibilities
• Keeps records of financial transactions up to date.
• Makes entries, calculations, totals and balances.
• Verifies accuracy of documents and records related to payment receipts and
other financial transactions and makes necessary corrections.
• Receiving and paying of Morley (cashiering.)
• Ensuring proper filling and keeping of all accounts records.
• Custodian of cash and other valuable items.
• Ensuring that all money come into the organisation are being receipted.
• Collecting bank statement, bank balance. Credit note and debit note from the
bankers.
• Ensuring that financial procedures and policy on receiving, payments and
handling of monies are adhered to.
• Compiles periodic financial reports and statements.
• Perfume any other duties as may be assigned by superior.

How to Apply
N.B General Conditions and Mode of Application
i. All applicants
must be Citizens of Tanzania and not above 45 years old, however, applicants
who are above 45 years old and are current employed in the public service
should route their application letters through their respective employers.
ii. Applicants must attach an up-to-date current curriculum vitae (CV) having
reliable contact, postal address, email and telephone numbers and at least
three reputable referees (preferably work related for those who are employed.)
iii. Applicants must attach their detailed relevant certified copies of all
academic certificates with two recent passport size picture and birth
certificate. (Form IV and form VI results slips, testimonials, partial
transcripts will strictly not be accepted.)
iv. Presentation of forged academic certificates and other information in the
CV will necessitate to legal action.
v. Applicants for entry levels currently employed in the public service should
not apply, they have to adhere to Government Circular Na. CAC. 45/257/01/D/140
dated 30th November, 2010.
vi. Certificates from foreign examination bodies for ordinary or advanced level
education should be certified by the National examination Council of Tanzania
(NECTA).
vii. Certificates from foreign universities should be verified by the Tanzania
commission for universities (TCU). All applications should be addressed as
shown below, to be received three weeks from the first appearance of their
advertisement. Only short listed candidates will be contacted.
